Life Beyond Brawerman

The impact of a Brawerman West education lasts far beyond graduation.

Our alumni carry the lessons, values, and commitment they gained here into high school, college, careers, and communities. Their stories remind us what’s possible when a strong foundation meets personal passion.

Our Alumni Network

Our alumni stay connected through reunions, milestone celebrations, and the relationships that began right here on campus.

Behind the scenes, we track where our graduates go for middle school, high school, and college, continuing to cheer them on as they build engaging, dynamic, and unique lives.

Graduation Is Just the Beginning

From thriving in competitive high schools to leading in creative, academic, and civic areas, our graduates stand out not only for what they achieve, but for how they participate, think deeply, and care about others.

Alumni Spotlight

Eden Yadegar, Class of 2015

At Columbia University, Eden has become a passionate advocate for Israel and Jewish life on campus, organizing rallies, vigils, and educational events through Students Supporting Israel, and even running for the World Zionist Congress. She credits Brawerman for planting the seeds of her Jewish pride and confidence, teaching her not just the fundamentals of Judaism, but the joy of it.

“Before anything else, I am a Jew. And I feel so confident saying that because of the way Brawerman raised me.”
— Eden Yadegar ’15

Giving Back: Alumni Engagement & Mentorship

High School Graduates

Each year, we welcome alumni who are graduating high school back for our annual Sushi & Shmooze event, an evening of reunion, prayer, and blessing led by Rabbi Ben-Naim as we send them off into their next adventures.

Anniversary Celebrations

Every five years, we gather for the Brawerman West Anniversary Celebration, bringing generations of alumni together to reconnect and celebrate the school that shaped them.

Mentoring & Connecting

Many alumni return to campus to speak with students, offer mentorship, or share their inspiring stories. These moments of reconnection help current students envision what’s ahead and remind alumni just how much their roots still matter.

Want to reconnect, give back, or share your journey?

Whether volunteering at events, mentoring a Grade 6 student, or enrolling their own children at Brawerman, our alumni embody what it means to carry forward the values that started here.

Contact Director of Development Rebecca Spain, rspain@wbtla.org, to learn how to get involved.
